Italy: Tuscany

With this post I begin my personal address book to participate, Sybille, 150 Italy ... from my point of view of mother and teacher Traveling with children is very important indeed to find a place that offers better opportunities for young people ... the only way travel is for the whole family and not just parents who barely drag their children to museums, or worse, to the detriment of the children of the need of parents to see something interesting ...

is not a place just for families but also for teachers who accompany pupils on a school trip ...

start from Tuscany ... What are the most fun and meaningful activities to do with kids?

- boat cruise through the center of the city of Pisa, with three possibilities: Lungarni Tour, Tour Lungarni + Park St. Flushing, or with the addition of the Mouth of the Arno
- visit the imposing Michelangelo's David the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence
- the Leonardo Museum, with its display of 60 machines of Leonardo's invention, and several guided tours suitable for all ages (6 years) and the opportunity to take part in a workshop The look on Leonardo
- Park and Lake San Rossore Massaciuccoli on board a train ride on the eco-
walls of Lucca
- art museum for children Siena, one of the few Italian and offers an approach to the art museum suitable for children
- Garzoni Garden visit and Parco di Pinocchio in Collodi

My suggestion for those traveling with children is to plan for each day an event suitable for them, but also attractive to adults, as indeed are all the activities mentioned ... accept more readily if they have to then follow you into something that is theoretically more appropriate for adults, but here it is not always so: traveling here and there I noticed that also a museum può diventare simpatico per i bambini, basta organizzare una caccia al tesoro (ad esempio, trovare gli animali che si nascondono nei dipinti esposti e appuntarli su un notes... vince chi ne trova di più) o ancora fotografare cose strane in giro per le città, interrompendo ogni tanto i nostri tours con una pausa gelato o cioccolata calda (a seconda della stagione).

Avete altri suggerimenti per visitare la Toscana in famiglia? Voi, come vi regolate in viaggio con i figli?
